Product Profile: This product includes a fully managed name brand server, installed in a Tier 3 data center with 24x7 on-site technicians for hands-on and break-fix services and 24x7 Support Engineering for Operating System and utility software administration, maintenance and problem resolution.
Product Detail: The Server Managed Services product is available in three performance levels; level 1 is a standard mainstream server with typical memory and processor speeds; level 2 is a multi-processor mid-range server with a larger form factor to accommodate more disk drives and interface cards; level 3 is a high-end multi-processor server with multiple drive bays, card slots and peripheral options. Each Managed Server Services package includes physical cabinet space and redundant power, full environmental systems management, installation and implementation configuration services, basic server monitoring services, full server break-fix services including “hot-spare” parts on site, basic O/S administration and maintenance, O/S and utility software problem management, proactive application of patches, bug-fixes or similar system updates and corrections. This service does not include application layer support or administration. The client will continue to be responsible for all application activity.
